Festival Brazil at Southbank Centre, London

From 19 June to 5th September, London's Southbank celebrates everything Brazilian, with events, exhibitions, dance and literature. FESTIVAL BRAZIL is one of London's major summer festivals, Don't miss it! 



FESTIVAL BRAZIL encompasses graphic arts, performance, food and fun!

Highlights of FESTIVAL BRAZIL include:

• Visual Arts at the Hayward Gallery with an exhibition of internationally renowned Brazilian artist Ernesto Neto's work, and The New Décor, including sculpture and installation from more than 30 contemporary artists 

• Contemporary Music at Royal Festival Hall with:
Maria Bethania (17 Jul)
Os Mutantes and Tom Ze & Band (18 Jul)
Gilberto Gil (21 Jul)

Brazilian Words at London Literature Festival featuring Socrates – a doctor, social activist, philosopher and footballer 

Brazil! Brazil! – capoeira, acrobatics, football, dance and music – at the E4 Udderbelly at the Southbank

Gringo Cardia, a designer, graphic artist and architect who has worked with Cirque du Soleil, brings Brazilian street art to London's Southbank

FESTIVAL BRAZIL will centre around two big weekends:

16-18 Jul: Spoken word performances, poetry readings, family workshops, Brazilian cuisine and music

6-8 Aug: Free events, family workshops, artist-led talks, free guided tours and a huge Brazilian carnival!
