Renovation work on Rio's famous Christ the Redeemer statue has been completed in 4 months and the statue is now revealed to visitors once more.

The famous Rack Railway service up the Corcovado mountain to the statue of Christ the Redeemer, closed some time ago due to flood and mudslide damage during the heavy rains, will re-open in July.
